CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR MSCM, MSC FIN, CA* *FRANCE, MEMORIALIST
Alex Chrisment is a co-founder and director of Vitalis Health & Home Care.
Alex brings 20 years of management experience across a broad array of corporate sectors and roles. He started his career in corporate advisory, working with PwC in Luxembourg, France and Australia on a range of assignments for multinational clients. After this, Alex joined an Australian private property group with specialisation in the retirement village industry where he developed a strong interest and understanding of how our community addresses the needs and challenges we face as we get older.
From this experience, added to a family heritage of engagement with aged care — with both parents working in Geriatric hospitals and his own personal involvement assisting nurses in aged care during his student years — Alex came to the conclusion that more should be done to support people when they need it most.
Susan Turner Kapsanis
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR BA(HONS)/LLB; MASTERS ENV. LAW MAICD
Susan began her career as a lawyer with a leading Wall Street law firm, Milbank. Her interest in integrated health and home care began after leaving her legal career to care for her own family’s complex home and healthcare needs. These needs spanned critical and chronic illness as well as disability and palliative care, the latter when caring for her father as he faced terminal cancer.
She grew passionate about health and home care quality and the need for advocacy and coordination of services. This led her to co-found The Medical Concierge, a healthcare navigation and advocacy service, and Vitalis Health & Home Care.
Susan has also been active in the not-for-profit sector since 2003, including most recently as a board member and now Chair of The Shepherd Centre, a charity that has supported children with hearing loss for the past 50 years.
